Geo R Bond is today's answer to cost effective stabilisation for a variety of applications with emphasis on road and highway construction.

It helps achieve the desired engineering target in both new and existing road construction. It has been used extensively, in many cases with exceptional results.

Geo R Bond is an electrochemical soil stabiliser. It reduces the necessity for importation of base material by utilising on-site soils without expensive preparation. The additive chemically and physically reshapes soil structure. The scope of change is such that it reduces or eliminates the clay fraction, optimises the degree of compaction, permanently locks in the moving gravels within the treated layer and produces a durable, heavy load-bearing pavement or foundation body with superior surface hardness and stability that better resists overwhelming water flow, pooling, abrasion loss and traffic. It creates a rock hard yet flexible road pavement needing little or no maintenance. Many applications have been carried out in difficult conditions using a variety of suspect or substandard soil materials. The majority of roads produced have not required a bitumen seal.

A road treated with Geo R Bond is stabilised and protected from the extremes of damage and deterioration caused by water influx and climatic variations. The process is irreversible. It reduces or eliminates the destructive effects of swell and shrink and frost-heave.

The product is simply installed via a water tanker and construction follows standard maintenance-grade procedures with no additional machinery or personnel. Improvements are near immediate and obvious to the eye.

In line with Australian Standards road pavement design methodology and road building specifications, a Compliance Specification has been prepared for the construction and rehabilitation of roads using materials stabilised with Geo R Bond.
